After looking up the NSN I cannot locate what it was used in.
The NSN was issued 1 Jan 1963.
The item name is 15251, brush set contact.
The 15251 may be the art number within the equipment it was used with.
There were three part numbers that were assigned to this NSN, SCD99877
(US Army) (possibly a root number for brush sets with the dash number
indicating the unique brush set part number), SCD99877-83 (US Army) and
101167-77-000 (Airbus Defense and Space Gmbh).
So, I think the equipment it was used in was of 1963 vintage, this is a
brush set for a DC rotating instrument as indicated by the +/- signs on
the brushes, possibly the high voltage output from a dynamotor as HV is
part of the name on the package.
This part appears to have been procured for all branches of the service
and in Germany. And has not been procured for over 5 years.
