Just an opine, but when you look around hamfests, there is a primary makeup of folks, and it is not hoards of teens and 20 year olds.  From selling at a few including Dayton, I have seen several categories of folks, the 'what is that', the "had one of those and it was crap back then too", the "giggle, laugh and walk away shaking their head", and then someone that will actually be interested.  So, we are slowly passing away, and like those families that will take down all those certificates and awards that mean nothing to no one except the person that earned them (and might've animosity associated with them over the time spent away from family earning them), and throw them in the trash, those of us into vintage know that, chances are very high our treasures will be in the recycle pile at the dump.

Heck, I'm still waiting to confirm Utah for WAS for the past 54 years, so there won't be any certificates to pitch, but they will need a big truck for the gear.  I  hear 'Preppers' are into EMP survivable gear, maybe they will buy it.
