I was just thinking this last week!

I bought two NOS antennas for a '645, and wondered, what did the signal 
sound like over the air?  A buzz, a chirp, some sort of elaborate 
digital encoding scheme...?

Quite a few pics out there, but I'm not seeing any that shows what's 
behind the door on the front.
