"I was in the local Ace Hardware arranging for a new car key to be made. 
We heard a sudden hellacious loud roar outside as a motorcycle rapidly 
accelerated from the parking lot.
The hardware store fellow looked aside to me and commented wryly, "I 
want to be that guy, when I grow up !"

We have little turds like that around here.  Zero to infinity in an 
instant, only to get caught at a light, or stuck in traffic anyway doing 
a fraction of the speed.  Big show-offs, show how fast they can 
accomplish nothing in the end, while pissing everyone off.

I almost feel bad.  My new ride can achieve just over ~25% of Mach 1 
(sounds impressive when put like that!).  I think I hit half that once 
for a moment, that was enough.

I take it out for exercise to the grocery store every two or three weeks.
