As it says, if someone wants this radio it's theirs. I will_not_do any loading, transporting, carrying it out of my basement at all. Recent shoulder surgery. 28071, North Carolina. I'd rather have someone who'd get the old girl working again than try to sell it. 1st response gets it. I found the mil. original dynamotor from a guy about 20 yrs. ago and it was still sealed in 1945 gov. packing. Connected the dynamotor with the cables I made and the thing actually received and transmitted a carrier as per my Hallicrafters SW receiver. 20 yrs. ago. Mr. Smith, K4CHE has considerable experience in WW2 portable radio direction finding. He has on occasion held "DF parties" at Gilbert MRCA and other events and demonstrated proper close in direction  finding techniques with DAV and the BC-611.
Would think if anyone has it he will.

A first step in the evolution of the WWII
MAB Marine Corps "shoot here" radio into
the DAV "shoot here too" radio/direction
finder was a module adaptor which one
installed between the MAB top and battery
case.  It also required a modified RF
module which had an extra 6-pin connector.
The later DAV-2 just added 4 pins to the
black, rectangular module connector.
I do not have the RF module with the
added connector.  Anybody got one
in the junk box?
