2002: 24,832 (ARRL Newsletter)
2003: 22,168 (ARRL Newsletter, nearly constant rain on Saturday)
2004: 19,869 (ARRL Newsletter, rain)
2005: 20,411 (ARRL Newsletter)
2006: 20,324 (ARRL Newsletter)
2007: 19,318 (K4KL, ARRL Newsletter)
2008: 17,250 (ARRL Newsletter, Friday rain but sunny overall)

2009: 18,877 (K4KL, ARRL Newsletter, rain late Saturday afternoon for
short while)
2010: 19,750. (ARRL Newsletter, mostly sunny, pleasant weekend)
2011: 22,312 (Dayton Hamvention direct query – WA8APB) Sunny and
warm all 3 days

	 Hamvention attendance peaked in 1993 at 33,669, before the 1996
change in date from April to May while it was still being held at Hara
Arena. Attendance in 2016 for the show’s final year at Hara was
25,364

	From the Hamvention People: 

	The official attendance at Hamvention 2022 was 31,367 General
Chairman Rick Allnutt, WS8G, said although that was about 1,000 less
than 2019, he considered it not bad for a pandemic recovery year.
Hamvention was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 because of the covid
pandemic. 

	I thought it was a good show. 

	2016 25,364 Last year at the old Hara dump. 

	2017 29,296 First time in Xenia, year of the “Mud Fest” 

	2018 28,417 

	2019 32,472 

	2020 Covid 

	2021 Covid 

	2022 31,367 

	The only time you saw attendance in the thirty’s was back around
1990 to 2000, think the lowest point was 2008/2009 with numbers around
seventeen and eighteen thousand.
