My proclivity to knocking things over, even if armed with the best intentions, makes me not even want to look at HF. 
I strongly recall some accidents I am aware of. 
In the 1980s, I recall someone at the U. of W. in Seattle died after some kind of hood to evacuate mercury vapor failed.
At the high school I attended, a couple years after I graduated, I recall a male student blinded a girl student when he playfully sprayed her face from a
bottle he thought was water, but instead held acid. Accidents want to happen.
