I have a couple H-203/U soundpowered phones I think I am going to put on the auction site.
I considered taking the UA1614-1 elements out, for use as crystal radio headphones, but I think I actually prefer the vintage piezo headphones. I looked at Ebay and I see some H-203/U have sold, not for big money, but for around maybe $25+. This has me wondering: why would someone actually buy such a thing, I mean other than for the elements? Just as a toy? I also noticed when testing them, the push-talk button on BOTH phones have to be pushed to allow communication between the two. Buttons on both, not just the transmitting one. That seems really inconvenient, altho I suppose in a multi-phone hookup, you wouldn't want to waste the limited audio power to not - involved stations. But was there another ringing circuit ?
Otherwise you'd have to have a time schedule for when to press.
