Someone posed a question regarding the knob above the meter;  it’s not a knob at all, it is the pilot light assembly for illuminating the meter face.

The AR-2/AR-6 receivers were manufactured by Canadian Marconi, RCA (Montreal) and Northern Electric, the Canadian branch of Western Electric. I have seen AT-1/AT-7 transmitters built by Marconi and Northern Electric and It is likely RCA made them too.
