Sad that the only primary reason this is being dismantled is liability.  So many things we can't do now that we used to are because of 'liability'.  People were much heartier and healthy years ago, even the average weight of 'The Fat Woman' at the circus side show was only 220 pounds.  taking things like this set of stairs as just part of the job, not a hindrance. When I first went to work at the outfit I started with, I had to climb 50ft up a tower and back down, no training, just climb.  That is not done anymore due to liability. Even when you have a form that you sign releasing a company or individual from any liability, that can be circumvented.  At my gunclub, we have a form all have to fill out before they shoot, releasing the club from any liability, it is 2 pages long and covers every aspect of stupid, but the lawyers in the club said we could still be sued, there is just no way to cover your derriere anymore from a lawsuit.  A 20 mile railroad spur line, just recently falling into disuse in my town, that has been in place since about 1850 is being pulled up for the use as a hiking/biking path.  All those folks along the line way out in the country are complaining about now having  hikers and bikers in their front yards or cow filled pastures, but it seems there will be no liability for injuries while traversing the old right of way on private property.  We'll see.  I'm amazed that California with its Prop 15 warning on everything, does not require ham gear to have a similar cancer caused by RF  warning on the box or in the ads.
