[Milsurplus] Unknown loop antennas ?

Anyone recognize these loop antennas, what they came from?
The chrome finish one has a 3 contact socket. The black one has wires
coming out and an unwired BNC. I suspect the BNC is some last user
mod, never finished. Diameter is about 10 inches. I suspect with that
diameter, these are from some kind of test equipment and not a
direction finder.
