It's likely the company did subcontract work for another company.   
Shortly after the war Hudson American was acquired by Reeves-Ely 
Laboratories (later Reeves Instruments Co.) which was an early defense 
contractor and manufacturer of computer and radar systems, and I suspect 
that Hudson American subcontracted to Reeves and then was acquired to 
become the nucleus of that effort.   Reeves was led by Hazard E. Reeves, 
a pioneer in sound recording, inventor of multichannel magnetic movie 
sound, and president of Cinerama.   If my hunch is correct, Hudson 
American probably produced something on this list:

I've determined that the advertisements for marine radios ended soon 
after an ad  appeared noting the change of ownership.   If anyone 
happens to come across a piece of mil radio equipment with the Hudson or 
Reeves name, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
