[Milsurplus] Shakey tuning correction

mistake it was the vertical spur gears that had worn and the spring
loading didn't correct it. The bevel gears weren't spring loaded and
I was lucky enough to replace the spur gears, which were white metal
as I recall.  I used Lubriplate for lubrication and that grease
worked well, but they did require cleaning as dust and some gear
metal sloughed off, contributing to more wear.
