[Milsurplus] AN/USM-117 Oscilloscope question

Was there an overhaul manual issued for this scope?

I have the maintenance manual, which is full of
troubleshooting information. But nothing on how
to take the thing apart to actually replace anything.
Except that it looks like taking the CRT and its shield
out would be the first step and those instructions are
there.

It appears that serviceability was the lowest priority
on the designers list.

In fact, I can't even figure out how they put
it together to begin with.

But then, I'm also wondering if it is worth the time
and effort, there are better scopes out there.
