[Milsurplus] CHU Receiver clues ?

I found a little HB receiver with dymo label " 7.335 MHz RECEIVER ".  It's a 6 transistor circuit, looks like
a Murata type IF filter of some kind, 9 volt batt operated. Actually, in this case "not operational".  Looks
like the circuit board is professionally made. I did not find any online leads. Anyone remember such an
article in 'Ham Radio Magazine' ?
