I have an RT-12/TRC-2 available if anyone is trying to assemble an AN/TRC-2
and needs the radios. Also have some other components.

Most of the 1306s I owned i bought from a PA ham way back before there was
an internet.
He said he and a group of guys had a "1306 net" on CW for some years.
Apparently it tuned
just low enough to work a small part of the CW reservation. I looked up his
name and I see
he's still active. I think I should contact him and ask him for some more
color on the "1306
net". The TRC-2 160 meter radio I have, the fellow said he had worked on a
farm where the
farmer had it installed in his tractor. Kind of an early 'CB'. You might
think that would mean
it's beat, but it is in great condition. I had one in high school years I
bought for $15 in
downtown Seattle, 'Pacific Surplus', and I powered it up with batts and used
it only to listen
to the old 2522 kcs. telephone operator. I very foolishly traded it off for
a to me useless
BC-229, and that was the end of that, one less of the some 1000+ that were
built.
