I've been looking for an RAL...but sure didn't expect to find one on a pawn shop listing on CRAIGSLIST!

It was absolutely horrible looking.Corner of front panel bent over and flange of the DB level meter was broken off in one section.
But it was all there. Original knobs etc.RCA Navy contract Dec ,1939

The front panel had been damaged by salt air , etching deep gouges under blistered black wrinkle paint from 1939 at RCA. Dirt and grass blown into the meter housings.

Well,it was going to be just a parts set for a nicer one I was gping to get.

3 weeks later. It's working great,tuned up and a major face-lift .

The best $45 I ever spent!!
