[Milsurplus] Recruiting

I subscribe to a "militaria collector magazine" called 'Military Trader'. Have subscribed for some years now.
I don't collect what's most commonly known by "militaria", that is, medals, uniform items, weapons, documents,
or vehicle - related. I mostly subscribe to some of the brief history articles and book reviews and to see what's
going on with the collector world. It occurs to me, "someone" could maybe cook up a 2 - 3 page article on
collecting and importantly - using - historic military radios. With maybe photos showing a range of vintage
equipment. I'm sure you readers will have great ideas on what photos and mentions should appear. The
magazine, I am very sure, would welcome such an article. The article should stress that it's actually possible
to use these things, if you wish, and the learning is not impossible for the average person. That you can get the
necessary license to transmit without becoming an engineer. I would do this article myself, asking for photos
from the group members, but I dare not look at any project for another year or two. My possible contribution
could only extend to critiquing or editing the article, if I may be so presumptuous to assume so.

BTW: I subscribed to the magazine via digital. It's in a PDF form, and I find this quite comfortable to deal with.
A few months back I wanted to get some back issues from when I let my subscription lasp. Actual paper copies
were way too expensive for me to justify, so I bought 'digital issues' from Zinio. The display format there was a
side to side page - turning and I didn't like it at all, felt it was hard to deal with. I only downloaded one copy and
then contacted Zinio that I was unhappy and requested a refund for the not-downloaded issues. Zinio replied,
sorry, you paid, you got. I had smartly enough paid by Paypal, and I started a "case" with Paypal for a dispute
and refund. The next day I had my money refunded. You may optionally hate these big digital companies, but
Paypal does protect your money.
