[Milsurplus] Question on T-26 mic

I have a T-26 chestplate assembly with headphone and 3 prong plug.
I believe this must have been for field phone operator use, is that 
right? Now also, I need to buy the MC-114 earphone pads. FAIR has
them for $35 for pair, not cheap but a realistic price considering. My
question on the MC-114, were these used for other headphones, if
so, which ?
