Don’t run anything with dynamotors because of there size and weight, in the last ten years or so been operating newer equipment from the Cold War. In the last five or six been dragging around my M151A1 mutt with AN/GRC-106 and doing things like the M&S Net and MMRCG USB Military Nets on Saturdays and just did AA 83 where along with running SSB voice also did some teletype with the 106. I have a MEP-025 1.5 kW generator that when operating for a long period of time like at MRCA up in Gilbert but most of the time take power from the mutt.

Have a WW2 Navy MAK HF AM transceiver that I bought in Dayton three years ago and bought crystals, built up a new solid state switching supply for operations from 12 volts that I want to use on the WW2 3885 AM Military Radio net out in Dayton but its been sitting on the shelf now for a while waiting for its opportunity to be used in the field. Have done a couple QSO with it to the next state over and the like but dragging it into the field and netting with other military radios is my thing, just cant get enthused talking with some Ham on there Yeasu or SDR.
