I know we're all tired of this damn thing, but please continue to take it seriously. As you know, my family contracted this stuff back in June. Kay and I have heart damage and I have neurological damage that affects the coordination of my right hand. I'm just now recovering most of my strength. But I'm not like I was. A little better every day. But my hand still won't work right. I'm trying to learn to work around it. My youngest daughter, Annabelle, nearly died twice. I don't know if Kay and I can survive another round with a different variant. Going to work to support my family is like walking in a damn Minefield everyday, waiting for your leg to be blown off.It wears on a fellow. So far, Kay has lost her mother, we have lost an uncle, we have lost four family friends, and now one of Kay's sister-in-laws, in her fifties, contracted covid-19. She was getting better, then the virus started creating blood clots. She had a massive stroke and is in the hospital unresponsive. It looks very grim for her. My youngest brother and his children are down with it. So far they seem to be recovering but God only knows.Please- if you know anyone who is still trying to tell themselves that this is some kind of hoax or it's just the flu, please set them right. I've lived through 64 years of flu and I've never seen one do this. I can stand to miss a few hamfest. But I don't want to miss a bunch of you.GL OM DE Dave AB5S
