[Milsurplus] AM-FM radio for M37 vehicle

A fellow in Louisiana has contacted me wanting to buy one of my SCR-274N 
.52 to 1.5 mc radios to install in his

M37 vehicle.  He want's to be able to listen to either AM or FM.    
Is there anyone who might have a suggestion

as to what type of radio might be more appropriate than one of the 
command sets?  Seems to me he would have

to butcher it fairly extensively and as these radios are a bit on the 
rare side i don't particularly care to turn one of

mine loose to undergo that kind of treatment.Â

I have a pair of these, one aluminum and one in black.
