Not all RBS are created equal. We had two aboard the Ling, both part of the original records, and neither had engraved knobs. Also look at the freq window on the one on the right. Compare with the RBM and RBS on Nick England’s site. Different windows on the two. Maybe one was swapped out at some point.

There's no RBS in the photo. If you continue on in the video, you can see the right hand receiver has no
white letters engraved in the knobs, like "T" for tuning, that the RBS has. If an RBS was used in such use,
you'd have somewhere else to find a home for the not installed one of the RBM receivers, which were
supplied to Sam in pairs, LF and HF. The right hand RBM I'm guessing is the LF-MF receiver, but just
guessing from what I could make out from the blurry logging chart. The thing above the left hand
receiver, there was some closeup shot that showed the nameplate and it said something like "AUDIO
INPUT…." but I cannot find that scene again; I don't if i maybe saw it in some other video of the same
subject. The video also states the generator supplied, among DC voltages, 220 AC, and this puzzles me:
I thought the RBM were 110 AC operated, when not 12 DC. The receiver appears to be SX-25 but its
knobs look like they're from a R-648 / ARR-41. I can't account for the weird wet or oily look of the
equipment paint.
