Ray,
I used the T-195 with both the LV and HV dynamotors with the PP-1104 with no problems. The meter pegs at the start-up but the dynos spin up normally, and settles at around 35 amps. Some time ago the PP-1104 died in the middle of a local AM net using it with an ART-13/BC-348 (it had no problem with the DY-17 starting current either for years), and I found a couple of pass transistors bad - all original). I bought the higher current version of the original to replace all of them, but haven't done it yet. In the meantime I bought (eBay) a couple of the more modern PP-8474/G switching power supplies - in comparison they weigh 35 lbs; they're adjustable 22 to 30 volts DC @ 60 amps. These supplies are completely RFI free.
They do fine with the T-195 dynamotors, the ammeter pegs for a fraction of a second and settles at 35 amps, that includes the R-392 current. I haven't tried the ART-13/DY-17 yet with these. My PP-4763 is powering the GRC-106 in my GRC-122 shelter. I haven't tried to use it with anything else. On the other hand, I used a PP-8474 to power the GRC-106 while the 4763 was down several months ago when the 3 original electrolytic caps on the control board failed at the same time, and I had to order replacements as I didn't have those values in my stock of parts.
I also have a T-195B with the two inverter supplies, I run that and the R-392 with a 35 amp surplus Lambda RFI proof switching supply.
