Pozidriv screws have a set of radial indentations (tick marks) set at
45° from the main cross recess on the head of the screw.
The dot appears to indicate a JIS B 1012.
This standard appears to only be available for sale, not be internet.
I have not found a document that indicates the meaning of the dot.
I have found a screw head with a dot to always be metric.
I have JIS and JCIS drivers.
I have found that a Phillips driver fits the screw head with a dot
better than a JIS driver.
The JCIS screws are camera screws.
One of my past jobs was Chief Engineer at a TV station where one of my
duties was repairing TV cameras.
Maryland Metrics was the company that enlightened me to JIS and SCIS
drivers.
My source for these drivers has been Moody Tools, not cheap, but, when I
broke a driver, they replaced it quickly with no questions asked.
