[Milsurplus] Lighthouse radio beacons of the past ?

A Google search turns up photos of a few beacon transmitters onboard Lightships.  In a photo of what appears to be the same type transmitter as on the Delaware ship can be seen a schematic with the transmitter being a model TB-142.

The transmitters aboard the Huron museum ship at Port Huron, MI:

And in this Getty Images photo of a different transmitter the nameplate can be clearly read to show the frequency coverage of 300-500 Kc.

We have a Lightship museum over in Lewes Delaware and they still have the original LF Beacon transmitters. You can see it on picture “E” on this link. No idea what the transmitters are.
