Yeah, I know.  No more room, not enough time
for what I have now; no business buying the thing.
But... But... It was cheap.  It looked cool.
Forgive me;
"Hi.  My name is Dave and I'm an addict..."

Just found this unmarked HF portable.
CIA?  Special Forces??  Who knows?
It is an all solid-state, two-channel HF rig.
It can run on 6VDC, 12VDC and 115VAC.

Jasmine the cat and her Sister, Little Blue,
keep sniffing at the dust and sand on it.
Wonder if it smells like camel??

The set has two tuning controls per channel:
A1, A2, B1, B2.  These turn variable caps.  The
B1 control cap has the "busted nut" problem,
shorting the many thin plates and it will be
a bear to fix.

Both channels are missing a board that sets
the freq.  They stack on top of a buffer amplifier
board.  Look for the two open cables  beside the
buffers.  I bet I could make a substitute.

Anyone got any clues?  I know one of you folks
has the "top secret" maint. manual right there
(such an optimist).
By the way- if anyone has one of these, the
two small pins on the Power connector are AC.
The top big pin is +DC and the bottom is -DC.
The -DC is NOT grounded- it's floating.
