I have about 12 new boxed 3 coils sets for the Meissner Signal Shifter, also, I am told, for
the Meissner 150 transmitter. Note, not desirable frequencies ! I have mostly boxes
of 2395 to 2835 kHz and 2 boxes of some 6+ MHz frequency range. I know there are a
few Shifters still out there at work and a vanishingly small number of Meissner 150s.
Maybe these coils could be modified for more useful Signal Shifter use by removing
turns. If you own one of these transmitters and you "need" such a coil set, you can let
me know. I think after this initial mention, which is just to see if there's any want or
need out there, I may try a set or two on Ebay. If they don't seem to be a hot item, I
may keep the coils just as coilforms for vintage regen receivers. Each Meissner box
contains 3 coils, one each 4, 5, 6 pins. I don't think as-is they have any use for such
regen receivers as the windings aren't optimized for that use. Perhaps coil wire could
be removed and the coilform reused.
