Good point, about the AR- and AT- names.
The old 2 and 3 letter system wasn't much good, was it?
Consider also TBX and TCH and TCS and TBY. The first 3 had "separate" receivers and
transmitters, but the first 2 were built in the same cabinet. The TBY was a true
transceiver, not separate receiver and transmitter. Odd. MO and MAK were basically
the same radio. Ditto for the MAB and its precursors. BN and MN were completely
different items in which the second letter has no purpose definition.
