I am planning on dragging the mutt out to Cape Henlopen Delaware State Parks Fort Miles complex and setting up there for the Military Radio Field Day -2020, September 26th.
Will be operating the AN/GRC-106 on 20, 40 and 60 meters along with taking part in the MMRCG 7.296 USB net and the MRCA 5.357 USB net that day, I am also working on running TTY from that location in the morning.
The fort Miles Military park will be open and I think they will also be giving tours of the bunker showing off the sixteen-inch gun, plotting room and magazines.
I will have equipment for 51.0 at the site and if we can coordinate something on 51.0 can set up the AS-2851 Log Periodic and give that a try.
If anyone is interested in visiting or operating at that site please contact me off list, for just stopping by the Fort Miles section will be open to the public from 1000 to 1600 hours that Saturday.
I will also have something there for portable operation on 51.0 or 144.25 AM or FM if anyone wants to come by and do a simplex between my location and the top of Tower 7
