[Milsurplus] Another BC-611 Service Tip

Once upon a younger world, I had the
complete IE-17 Test Set for aligning the
BC-611 but, alas, medical extortion did
for my 611 collection- a fate many of
us have watched our treasures suffer.
A couple of these 611 chassis I'm reviving
are ready for alignment, so had some
head-scratching to do on how to power them.

I have already drilled a spare case to use
for alignment.   The application of a very
nice caliper (Thank you, Mike Hanz), some
ancient drafting compasses (compassie??),
a protractor, a rabbit's foot plus the Lord's
angel on my shoulder and, for a wonder,
all but one of the holes was spot-on and
the last was close enough to work.
Thanks again, Mike, for the many times you've
patiently instructed me on using these.

So how to get power to the thing?
Was mulling building a "test stand" with
wood, using pointy nails to make contact
with the flat power connectors and other
impractical wool-gathering when a tiny
dim bulb lit-up that dusty cavern between
my ears- make the connections inside
the radio at an easily-reached point.
Tack-solder wires there, run them though
one of the holes in the bottom plate and
un-tack them when the alignment is done.

Note:  These are model "F" chassis.
A through E will be different, but the
concept is the same.

Photo- Yellow wire is A+ 1.5 VDC.
Red is 100V B+:

Use a medium-tip size, hot iron.  Close quarters!
Connect the A+ wire to the solder lug on
the rear of the A+ connector:

The B+ wire connects to the junction of
R21 3.3Meg  and R22 1 Meg.  These are in
the Plate circuit of V4:

The set powered-up and aligned without a problem.
