The Able Archer 83 event will still be happening this weekend, with all this Covid stuff going on right now do not expect to see many visitors at the site and don't see any opportunity for doing anything like local field exercises so long story short figure that we will be just setting up the station and the mutt at the site.
We will be operating from Fort Miles located at Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware, the one time Cold War home of NAVFAC Lewes.

The event starts at noon local but have authorization to use the special event call W3A for the entire weekend so intend to check in to both MMRCG and Moose & Squirrel Nets that morning using the W3A call. In addition to voice operations intend to be operating the GRC-106 in FSK running 60 WPM 850 Hz shift, was thinking of working around 7080 or maybe 7087 but am open for suggestions.

We will have equipment for most HF/SSB and CW along with radios for 51.0 FM that I will monitor, intend to be on-site all-day Saturday and up till noon on Sunday.
Would like to try close in RTTY on maybe 20 meters or 17 meters (18.10) during daytime using just vertical antenna on mutt, the vertical preforms best on the higher bands.
If anyone would like to try something at any particular time please let me know and we can set up a schedule.

Additional information about the event can be seen at:
