I agree. And another possible source is or at least was Fair Radio Sales. Seems that these were the metal film type. They are what I have used in 611’s in the past. And unless they are physically too large, in most values the 630 Volt Axial Lead ones are about the same physical size as the originals in the 611’s. The leads tend to be shorter and the wire size smaller than the originals but I don’t recall that ever being an issue. The only ones where you might have to use the lower voltage rated ones are a couple or three where the original bodies were longer than normal and the bodies smaller in diameter than normal. The ones that Fair had were also round and yellow. Maybe that ID’s them as metal film. But they were still cheap enough to buy 10 of almost every value.

have a look at http://www.tubesandmore.com/products/capacitor-100v-polyester-film-inductive , this is a type that we used in the design of mobile radios in the 70ies. They should be ok in the BC-611 design if you can fit them mechanically.
The round yellow film caps tend to be more expensive, they're usually industrial quality.
