[Milsurplus] Liquid solder and xtals

Hi

You can fill in any of a number of company name for “RCA” in terms of who “figured out” 
crystals early on. Each of them has their own story about how they were the *only* one
who knew this or that. In terms of getting the crystal industry up and running for WWII, 
Motorola had more to do with it than any other single company ….

Interesting to note that RCA figured out how to do crystals right in the early 30's, and the FT241 failure investigations re-discovered everything RCA figured out on how to make a long lived and freq. stable crystals, but nobody asked them and they didn't tell anybody since they were not making crystals during the war.
