I have both receivers and both are operational. I saw post about the power
supply's. I run the original supply with the 80 ohm ballast resistor and
everything runs rock solid. If you were to put the resistor in you turn your
furnace off that thing puts off a lot heat.  Call Phil at Fair Radio sales
in Ohio you fix you up with a power supply if no here has one. I just spoke
with him a few minutes ago about some tubes I needed and he has them. Check
his web site to see if has one listed but call anyway if you don't one here
or his web page.  

Someday hopefully I want to donate both my receivers to WWII ship that had
them could use them. The Navy help me out when I needed a ride somewhere of
not "my choosing" J I'm a retired Marine communicator.
