Hi Steve,
You do not need that ballast tube nor it's circuit unless the Slater is
going out to sea for combat. If you find the the parts you may want to
install them for originality but leave them disconnected. The power
supplies will last longer and use much less power without them. "Shore
power" is your friend:) Are you displaying the internal parts?
