[Milsurplus] [MRCA] RF Generator wanted

Wow, mind blown! the Direct Support and General Maintenance TM 11-5820-520-34 that’s like the bible for the 106 calls for use of individual items like a RF Signal generator, millivolt meter, power meter and dummy load. But the later Alignment manual calls for and shows the IFR-500 being used, imagine the IFR is a better box for HF AM/SSB then the Motorola. Never owned an IFR but maybe it’s time to rethink that.

IFR monitors were designed with aircraft AM service in mind. Has anyone made a study of them for our use? I've had no complaints over the years, but probably wasn't doing the things that you're talking about doing.
