[Milsurplus] SCR-183 / 283 coils

Here for entertainment of a very few people, a couple new packed tuning units for SCR-183 transmitters,
1942 and '43 contracts.
I wonder what total SCR-183/ 283 production was. It had to be "a lot".  I see the '43 box no longer
reads, "Calibrated For.....".    Also this 42 box is stamped for 24 volts. Why would that be important ?
