One of my biggest peeves about eBay is their continued listing of Chinese
made radios with Military nomenclature. Yes, the Chinese make plastic (and
maybe now metal) cases that look like the real McCoy (whoever he was?). You
can buy a bare case, or you can buy one stuffed with a Chinese made
transceiver chassis that covers, I think, the 2 meter and the 450 FM ham
band. Apparently, earlier models were not compatible with standard US
Military audio components (6 pins), so they adapted to the 6 pin standard. I
will not buy a foreign made antenna since I do not know if it really covers
the band that they say it does.

I've lately seen ads on the e-place for what appear to be nib PRC-152, 152A
VHF/UHF transceivers with GPS at a very attractive price.
