Here's a transmitter from the Japanese 94-2 Ground - Air set. Both Brian and I have owned the receiver for this set.
I am a little surprised to see this transmitter offered again, and then, maybe not.
Note, seller does not specify weight anywhere in listing. Note also the mansize carry handles.
I was offered this item long ago, had to be somewhere in the decade 1985 - 1995. Of course, there's no way I want
to own something that takes two men and a boy to lift. The price at that time was less than 1/10th the present price.
I have to say this is sad, but..."Good luck with that !" Due to size it probably belongs back in a museum of some sort,
but with its condition, it hardly is something that visitors would appreciate. Needs a fair degree of work to look
respectable again.
I have a photo of this type equipment being used in the Aleutians.
Note also the plug-ins for the indicating meters. I do not understand the why of that construction. Did they burn out
a lot of meters, or maybe it was to be able to remove the delicate meters when moving?
