"NOTE: RECEIVER RADIATION:
The R-50M receiver has been basically designed for low radiation from the high frequency oscillator. To this end, the shielding in the oscillator and RF stages
is extensive. In addition, oscillator injection voltage to the mixer stage has been kept to a minimum consistent with good performance. In many cases,
however, receiver radiation is of no consequence and my be dispensed with in favor of increased sensitivity. Note that R7, ( the oscillator plate voltage drop
resistor ) is normally shorted out at the factory. If reduced radiation is an essential factor, the short should be removed from across this resistor. "

"This manual has no voltage or resistance tables ?!  Not acceptable - send it back to your technical writer for rework !"
