Todd, so I have my information correct as possible, you are saying that the transmitter ( at least ) was available separately cabineted ? Very interesting, as the manual does not include that option.
I note that the input power is 500 volts 160 mA under all conditions. 90 watts.
Where did you find a reference to it and its possible use ?
Definitely one of those "rare sets". I wouldn't be surprised that total production was in two digits.

I had one of these, Hue. It was the transmitter only, in a smaller cabinet, with mating supply and cables. Found an original manual online for it. Ended up trading it to a friend for another rig. He sold or traded it to someone else.
Very nice, high quality construction. Didn't look like it had seen much, if any, use. Very little information out there on its use. The one item I found mentioned use at shore and harbor batteries.
Always saw it as being in a similar category as the Meissner 150B which is seen in limited numbers, though more often than the TechRad gear.
A one – package answer to the TCS. Final = 2x 807 always both in service; modulated by HY-1231-Z; 1.5 – 12 MHz in 3 bands. 131 lb. dynamotor supply 45 lb.
