Looks like a neat rig.

Many years ago, I was given a brand-new, never used, TechRad T-350XM transmitter with
separate speech-amp by MARS..

What a wonderful transmitter!

A pair of 813s modulated by a pair of 805s (as I remember it). Had a wonderful VFO, and it
covered 1.5 through at least 20 Mhz. Had a built-in wide-range antenna coupler at the top.

When I left Missoula, Montana several years later, I gave it back to the Montana State
MARS director. He then traded it to someone for a T-368.

I had a photo at one time of an entire room full of those transmitters at some Army base
somewhere, all neatly lined up side-by-side and ahead and behind, with antenna leads
going straight up to the ceiling.

Apparently many of those were sent to England, and there are very few of them left here in
the U.S. I did see somewhere on the web where someone had restored one and had it on
the air.

I sure miss that rig. It was wonderful.
