[Milsurplus] Russ radio from movie "Star" RBM-1

When I looked at the Russian RBM schematic and read about its pre - war development I was quite impressed. From seeing a couple examples of Russ pre-war and WW2 radios
I tended to think of them as rather crude. Wehrmacht equipment is often touted as so wonderful but in the case of this class of field radio, I mean < 5 watts low HF band, I think
the RBM is clearly superior to the German competitor, the Torn.Fu.b series. The Torn. is larger and has an older - style circuit and also looks older. ( "Torn." is short for "Tornister"
= pack. )  
Since that fellow in Norway won't respond to Americans, I had a Czech contact obtain for me some antenna sections and base for the Torn.FuG.k, similar to the above set. The 
antenna has an X - style antenna hat. The antenna base unit is X - rare and people even bid up "dug" examples from Russia to restore.
