[Milsurplus] ELDI hand tools

Please: anyone here can find and relay info on a 1940s German hand tools company, ELDI?  ...Apparently good to excellent quality...company history... As I cannot speak the language, I am at a loss!  But definitely want to learn ( PS not on wikipedia apparently...)  Existed before end of WWII?  East or West German?  Please! and tnx!   -Steve k7ew
