SCR-274N had a VHF variant- SCR-274N VHF.
They look just like the ARC-5 VHF R-28 and T-23,
because those sets were born from the
SCR-274N VHF.
The 274N transmitter is the BC-950.
The 274N VHF receiver is the BC-942.

About a thousand of the 274N VHF sets were
produced.  The majority of them were reworked
into AN/ARC-5 sets.  While the transmitters
underwent major circuit changes, most of the
receivers got only a new nomenclature plate.
One can still find T-950 transmitters with their
original plates.
You can find BC-942 receivers, but not with
their original plate.  There are several "tells"
which authenticate a BC-942 receiver, but
all of them I've ever seen had their plates
changed to AN/ARC-5 R-28.

I have built the SCR-274N VHF set and am
missing only the nomenclature plate for
the Receiver, BC-942.  It should be a
Western Electric - make plate.
If you have one of these VHF receivers,
please take a moment to look at the plate.
If there is one still out there, I'd be very
happy to receive a photo of it.

Merry Christmas to all,
Dave AB5S
