[Milsurplus] Unknown Transceiver

Where's what I see:

Radio Pamplet 6, Jan 1923 for SCR-77-A (BC-9)
- NO photo showing its loop LP-2, nor its installation on the BC-9.

Radio Pamplet 43, Apr 1925 for SCR-77-B (BC-9-A)
- Figure 5 shows loop LP-2 installed on the BC-9-A.  The loop profile is identical to that shown in the old truck photo.

Neither of these manuals show the back side of either set with loop installed.  It is reasonable to expect that mechanical mounting details are identical for BC-9 and BC-9-A, since BOTH use the same LP-2 loop.  Your photo of the backside of your BC-9-A would obviously create a much more acute angle between the two lower loop sections, UNLESS there was a bend in the loop tubing immediately outside the loop attachment fixture on the back of the radio set.

All I can say is that the tubing configuration of the loop shown on the truck appears identical to the LP-2 loop and BX-9-A that is Figure 5 in SCR-77-B Radio Pamphlet No. 43.
