Sometimes, things work out they way you might think they should, but maybe not. I have a BC191 with the BD77 dynamotor and a BC375 with the PE73. The manual I have for the BC191 has no dynamotor info in it, and so far, have not found any on the net, maybe have not looked in all the nooks and crannies. But, I'll bet someone knows here. Is there any chance that the BD77 12/14 volt unit is really also a 24/28 volt unit with just the stators put in series or other wiring realignments to make it either model?
Picked up a really rough BC375, no tuber of course, but had all the important transformer, relay, tuning coils and cap stuff in it, just needed to get some power resistors from Newark for the resistor board in the back. I had to take off the left side panel where power and control comes in to straighten it out. The carry handle has 3 flat head screws that hold it to the panel, and when I pulled it off, thought one of them had the screw and nut broken off. Closer examination revealed that the screw had purposefully been cut off, no nut used, and it was peened into the metal panel. There was a metal encased cap right behind that screw with zero clearance, guess necessity is a mother when somebody designing the side panel did not talk to the guy designing the chassis layout.
