working on setting up the VOX control of the RF-350K as you read this. Perhaps later today we can do something on 7.087 LSB? that appears to be a good spot for RTTY although do hear DX on there occasionally.
Figure on using 850 Hz shift and 1445 as Mark, or would 2125 be better? for regular Ham stuff been playing with 170 Hz and 2125.
Can also try 20 meters if Navy East can go up that far?

Now that my gear is working (I think), I’ll give it a try. What would be a good time and band? I don’t operate enough to know anything about propagation. The west coast net is on 40m Saturday 4pm PDT, an hour before their AM net.
Should I try Saturday Morning before the MMRCG net? Or is that already too busy a time? Later in the day? Another day? Another band?
Advice needed!
Nick

Hi Nick,
I think we discussed this a year or so ago. If you want to take the lead and get something working that would be great. I think there's a bunch of us with RTTY gear that's sitting around so this may provide an incentive to dust it off. Like everything else we do, it's helpful when someone champions an idea and communicates the "how to" details.
