Okay, I am continuing to triage my vast holdings of paper, as I downsize and reorganize, because I have come to understand the limited timeline and also to prepare for a
move back to Washington state. So I came across a couple issues of 'Amateur Communications The Ham Operator's Magazine', from 1993. One is May 1993,
"Volume 4 No. 5". So it began with the new year 1990. I most likely bought this at 'Amateur Radio Supply' in Georgetown area of Seattle, back when I lived north of
Seattle. ( I lived on a 3 acre property then, and how I kick myself now for never once erecting any kind of antenna ! But - I did change jobs a few times those years,
and that was plenty stressful itself, so survival was my focus. )
It was a mix of operating articles and light technical articles, no schematics in the copies I have. Anyway, an online search returns NO finds for this magazine, which was
published in Miami, Florida, and was about the same size as CQ magazine. Disappeared like a stone thrown in the lake. Isn't that crazy ? I am astonished how thoroughly
it seems to have disappeared. Do you know anything more about this magazine ?
thanks-
Hue
